Pea 'Frisky'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water very often. Keep in mind when planting that Frisky is thought of as half hardy, so it will require protection in frosts and low temperatures. Planting Frisky in loamy soil with a ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) between Pea plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Frisky about 35 days before your last frost date.

As Frisky is half hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
