How to grow Pea 'Flair'

  • Partial Sun

  • Very High

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water very often. Keep in mind when planting that Flair is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 5.5 and 6.5 as Flair likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Flair from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.99 inches (2.54 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Flair about 35 days before your last frost date.

Transplanting Flair

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Flair is a half hardy plant.
