Okra 'Cajun Delight'

Enjoys a full sun position in your garden and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Cajun Delight is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Ensure your soil is loamy and has a ph of between 6.0 and 6.5 as Okra is a weakly acidic soil loving plant.

Soak or freeze then soak in luke warm water

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.98 inches (2.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 15°C / 59°F to ensure good germination.

Will not germinate below 65 degree daily temps

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Cajun Delight is a tender plant.
