Japanese maple 'Linearilobum'

Mulch at the base of the tree with organic matter in order to retain moisture. Make sure to keep mulch away from the tree trunk.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Linearilobum is generally regarded as a hardy plant, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Linearilobum needs a soil ph of 4.0 to 7.5 (moderately acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil).

Linearilobum is hardy, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
