Winter squash 'Delica'

Plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Delica is thought of as tender, so remember to ensure that temperatures are mild before moving outdoors. A soil ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 is ideal for Delica as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Aim to sow 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 2.28 feet (70.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 15°C / 59°F to ensure good germination.

As Delica is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
