  • Full Sun

Miyako needs a soil ph of 6.1 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil).

Growing Miyako from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 2.28 feet (70.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 1.17 inches (3.0 cm). For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 21°C / 70°F.

Transplanting Miyako

Miyako is tender, so ensure you wait until all danger of frost has passed in your area before considering planting outside.
