Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Hundredweight is generally regarded as a hardy plant, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. Hundredweight needs a soil ph of 6.5 to 7.0 (weakly acidic soil - neutral soil).

Sow at a depth of approx. 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 4.94 feet (1.52 metres) between Pumpkin plants. For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 21°C / 70°F.
