Keep in mind when planting that Barbados is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea).

Aim to sow 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm).

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Barbados is a hardy plant.
