Bean 'Tiger's Eye'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Tiger's Eye is thought of as tender, so it is really important to plant out well after your last frost date. A soil ph of between 6.0 and 6.8 is ideal for Tiger's Eye as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) between Bean plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

As Tiger's Eye is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
