Cauliflower 'Idol'

Idol likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Idol is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Idol tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 6.5 and 7.0 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - neutral soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 3.12 inches (8.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.58 inches (1.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 24°C / 75°F to ensure good germination.

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Idol about 14 days before your last frost date.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Idol is a hardy plant.
