Heavenly bamboo 'Harbor Dwarf'

Prune in the spring. Water regularly until established; then it needs water weekly or more often when too hot.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Harbor Dwarf is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures.

As Harbor Dwarf is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.

This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by early autumn.
