Leek 'Siegfried Frost'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Siegfried Frost is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months.

Aim to sow 0.78 inches (2.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Mke hole with dibber 6 in/15cm deep and place plant into each hole then fill with water. DO NOT FILL HOLE WITH SOIL

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Siegfried Frost is a very hardy plant.

This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by mid winter.
