Leek 'Shelton Hybrid'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Shelton Hybrid is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months.

Aim to sow 0.78 inches (2.0 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

As Shelton Hybrid is very hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
