African Violet 'Irish flirt'

Needs as much indirect sun as you can give it. Keep soil moist but not soggy.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Irish flirt is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Planting Irish flirt in potting mix, sandy and loamy soil with a ph of between 6.1 and 7.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

This plant is easier to grow from a leaf cutting or off sets.

As Irish flirt is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
