Try to plant in a location that enjoys dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that A l blake is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. A l blake requires a potting mix, sandy and loamy soil with a ph of 6.1 - 6.5 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil.

Soil temperature should be kept higher than 22°C / 72°F to ensure good germination.
