Japanese wisteria 'Purpurea'

Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Purpurea is thought of as hardy, so this plant will grow or become dormant during the winter. Planting Purpurea in loamy, clay and potting mix soil with a ph of between 5.6 and 6.0 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

As Purpurea is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
