Plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Francee is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Planting Francee in loamy, sandy and loamy soil with a ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Ensure a seed sowing distance of 3.90 feet (1.20 metres).

As Francee is very hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
