This orchid requires cool , well watered, humid conditions and medium to heavy shade to thrive and when growth slows down in the fall of the year needs less water and fertilizer. Never expose this orchid to direct mid-day sun.¹

Provide strong air movement at all times. Make sure the medium has excellent drainage. They grow best in a cool marine climate.¹
