Easy plant to grow, tolerates a lot of neglect. Ideally should be re-potted in the spring, maybe every other spring. Will burn under direct sunlight, so set under a tree or in a protected spot. Water two or three times a week in summer (more if it’s windy out). In winter bring plants in and reduce watering to once a week. Plants can be treated as climbers or trailers. Clippings can be taken once vines grow a few feet in length. Fertilize every two to three months using a general purpose fertilizer.
This plant is a great plant for helping purify air. (“According to a two year study conducted by NASA golden pothos is excellent for removing formaldehyde molecules from the air.”) 1
Be careful with this plant around children/animals, if ingested this plant can be poisonous.
These estimates for how long Epipremnum takes to sprout, grow and harvest are from real observations from real gardeners, right around the world.
