Dent corn 'Blue Dent'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Blue Dent is thought of as tender, so it is really important to plant out well after your last frost date. A soil ph of between 6.5 and 7.5 is ideal for Blue Dent as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 11.7 inches (30.0 cm) between Dent corn plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 18°C / 64°F to ensure good germination.
