How to grow Gladioli

Gladioli

Gladioli will grow in most soil types. Most gladioli are hardy in zone 8 and up, but some may survive in zones 5, 6, and 7.

Harvesting Gladioli

In cold regions or when you would like to divide, dig corns in fall around the time of the first frost. Cut off leaves and roots and knock off large clumps of dirt and let corms dry. You may also treat for thrips if desired. Store in a cool dark place and replant in spring.
