A child schoolyard game involves rubbing the flower on someones hand or arm and if it turns yellow then you like butter, or the boy or girl you like will talk to you, or some other such thing.

Another game children play is to pick a flower, say “Mama had a baby and it’s head popped off.” Then proceed to flick the dandelion flower off it’s stem with their thumb.
