Runner bean 'White Apollo'

White Apollo likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that White Apollo is thought of as tender, so it is really important to plant out well after your last frost date. Ideally plant in loamy and clay soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.0 and 6.8 as White Apollo likes to be in weakly acidic soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 1.95 inches (5.0 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 3.9 inches (10.0 cm) between Runner bean plants. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as White Apollo is a tender plant.
