Growing Caesar from seed

Soak seed overnight.
It is a heavy feeder, so prepare the soil 2-3 weeks before planting with compost, potash and well rotted manure 1

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.12 inches (0.3 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 20°C / 68°F to ensure good germination.
