Rose 'Kordana Series'

This miniature rose needs well-drained soil and at least six hours of sunlight a day.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Kordana Series is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). Planting Kordana Series in loamy soil with a ph of between 4.5 and 8.0 is ideal for as it does best in moderately acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Aim to sow 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) deep and try to ensure a gap of at least 3.96 feet (1.22 metres).

By our calculations, you should look at sowing Kordana Series about 35 days before your last frost date.

Give plants enough room to grow. These are NOT miniature roses as, when planted outdoors and no longer subject to growth retardents, they will grow larger than true miniatures – which are genetically small.

As Kordana Series is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.
