Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Bluejay is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in peat-rich soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 4.8 and 5.2 as Bluejay likes to be in moderately acidic soil to weakly acidic soil.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Bluejay is a hardy plant.
