Transplanting Valiant

Cool-season crop. For early harvest, start indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outdoors. Or seed directly outdoors. Sow 2-3 seeds together every 2 feet. When seedlings are 1 inch tall, thin to one plant every 2 feet. Break off lower leaves when sprouts begin to form. 1

Ensure that temperatures are mild (minimum night temperatures should be around 7°C / 45°F) and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Valiant is a half hardy plant.
