Rex Begonia 'Escargot'

This plant will enjoy an area with bright indirect sunlight. Filtered and afternoon sunlight would be ideal.²

Escargot likes a position of dappled sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Escargot is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside.

As Escargot is tender, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.

Escargot takes its name from the snail-like curl pattern at the base of the leaf.¹
