'Night-Scented Stock' is a plant in the Matthiola genus with a scientific name of Matthiola longipetala ssp. bicornis.

Night scented stock has soft sea green lanceolate leaves and pretty light coloured flowers, lilac and cream, grown mainly for their perfume, or as a cut flower.

Blooms typically mature to a diameter of 2.0 cm (0.78 inches imperial) and produce a cloves/vanilla fragrance, whilst displaying in these approximate colours:   Floral white and   Pink lace and   Rich brilliant lavender. Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun / partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly.
