Snap pea 'Sugar heart'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Sugar heart is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips. Sugar heart requires a loamy soil with a ph of 5.5 - 6.5 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil.

Look to ensure a distance 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Sugar heart is a half hardy plant.
