Apple 'Yorkshire Greening'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Yorkshire Greening is thought of as hardy, so it can be safe to leave outdoors for the majority of winter (although if in doubt, using a row cover is often a good idea). A soil ph of between 5.5 and 6.5 is ideal for Yorkshire Greening as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Apples are hybrids and do not come true from seed.

As Yorkshire Greening is hardy, ensure temperatures are mild enough to plant out - wait until after your last frost date to be on the safe side.

This variety tends to be ready for harvesting by mid autumn.
