Watermelon 'Orange Tendersweet'

Keep in mind when planting that Orange Tendersweet is thought of as tender, so remember to wait until your soil is warm and the night time temperature is well above freezing before moving outside. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.5 and 7.5 as Orange Tendersweet likes to be in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 8.12 feet (2.50 metres) and sow at a depth of around 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Orange Tendersweet is a tender plant.
