Position in a partial sun location and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Avonresister is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures. Planting Avonresister in loamy soil with a ph of between 6.0 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.47 inches (1.2 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.
