Chard 'Green Lucullus'

Enjoys a full sun position in your garden and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Green Lucullus is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Green Lucullus needs a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 6.1 to 7.5 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.39 inches (1.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Green Lucullus is a very hardy plant.
