Pea 'Yorkshire hero'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Yorkshire hero is thought of as half hardy, so it will need cloching or fleece protection when the temperature dips. Yorkshire hero needs a loamy soil with a ph of 5.5 to 6.5 (weakly acidic soil).

Look to ensure a distance 2.97 inches (7.62 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.99 inches (2.54 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 4°C / 39°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Yorkshire hero is a half hardy plant.
