Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Green Ginger is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in sandy, potting mix and loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.6 and 8.5 as Green Ginger likes to be in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.

Propagation is by cutting – this variety produces sterile seeds.

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 0.98 inches (2.5 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.23 inches (0.6 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 16°C / 61°F to ensure good germination.
