Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Caudata is thought of as hardy, so Caudata will tend to go dormant or grow slowly over the winter months. Caudata requires a soil ph of 4.8 - 7.5 meaning it does best in moderately acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Caudata is a hardy plant.
