Terrific likes a position of full sun and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Terrific is thought of as tender, so it is really important to ensure that the outside temperature is well above freezing before planting or moving outdoors. Ensure your soil is loamy and clay and has a ph of between 6.5 and 7.5 as Sweet corn is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Look to ensure a distance 7.8 inches (20.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 21°C / 70°F to ensure good germination.
