How to grow Sweet corn 'Conqueror'

Keep well watered, and mulch during dry spells.

Keep in mind when planting that Conqueror is thought of as tender, so it is imperative to wait until temperatures are mild before planting out of doors.

Growing Conqueror from seed

Sow seeds in mid spring 4 weeks before last expected frost in your area, singly 1cm (½in) deep in 7.5cm (3in) pots of compost. Place in propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag. Do not exclude light.

Transplanting Conqueror

Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 7 – 10 days before planting out after all risk of frost.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Conqueror is a tender plant.

Harvesting Conqueror

Expect harvests to start to occur in early autumn.
