Keep in mind when planting that Prado Red is thought of as half hardy, so remember to protect this plant from frosts and low temperatures. Prado Red requires a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 5.7 - 8.1 - it grows best in weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.
