How to grow Sunflower 'Mini'

Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water often. Mini is generally regarded as a half hardy plant, so it will require protection in frosts and low temperatures. Mini needs a loamy and clay soil with a ph of 5.7 to 8.1 (weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil).

Growing Mini from seed

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.49 inches (1.25 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 4.68 inches (12.0 cm) between Sunflower plants. For optimal germination, soil temperature should be a minimum of 13°C / 55°F.
