Plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Tigereye is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will typically do well in a variety of different extremes of cold temperature. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.8 as Tigereye likes to be in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Growing Tigereye from seed

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.99 inches (2.55 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 1.19 inches (3.05 cm) between Iris plants.

Transplanting Tigereye

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Tigereye is a very hardy plant.
