Guatemala likes a position of full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Guatemala is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Guatemala requires a soil ph of 6.1 - 7.8 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Ensure a distance of 1.19 inches (3.05 cm) between seeds when sowing - look to sow at a depth of approximately 0.99 inches (2.55 cm).

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Guatemala is a very hardy plant.
