Iris 'Blue Sapphire'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Blue Sapphire is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will typically do well in a variety of different extremes of cold temperature. Try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 6.1 and 7.8 as Blue Sapphire likes to be in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.

Sow at a depth of approx. 0.99 inches (2.55 cm) and aim for a distance of at least 1.19 inches (3.05 cm) between Iris plants.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Blue Sapphire is a very hardy plant.
