Keep in mind when planting that Vegas Heat is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to go dormant over the long winter months. A soil ph of between 6.1 and 7.8 is ideal for Vegas Heat as it does best in weakly acidic soil - weakly alkaline soil.
