Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Portmeirion is thought of as hardy, so this plant will survive close to or on freezing temperatures. Ideally plant in loamy soil and try to keep the ph of your soil between the range of 4.5 and 8.0 as Portmeirion likes to be in moderately acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil.
