Position in a full sun location and remember to water often. Keep in mind when planting that Chippewa is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Chippewa requires a peat-rich soil with a ph of 4.8 - 5.2 - it grows best in moderately acidic soil to weakly acidic soil.
