Broccoli 'Shogun'

Plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Shogun is thought of as tender, so it is really important to ensure that the outside temperature is well above freezing before planting or moving outdoors. Ensure your soil is loamy and sandy and has a ph of between 6.2 and 7.2 as Broccoli is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Look to ensure a distance 5.85 inches (15.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - bury at a depth of at least 0.51 inches (1.3 cm) deep. Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.

Ensure that temperatures are mild and all chance of frost has passed before planting out, as Shogun is a tender plant.
