Broccoli 'Green Emperor F1'

Harvest centre heads when well-formed, just before flower heads are open. As spears are cut, others will appear in a few weeks.

Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Green Emperor F1 is thought of as tender, so it is imperative to wait until temperatures are mild before planting out of doors. Ensure your soil is loamy and sandy and has a ph of between 6.2 and 7.2 as Broccoli is a weakly acidic soil to weakly alkaline soil loving plant.

Water well until established

Ensure a distance of 1.95 feet (60.0 cm) between seeds when sowing - look to sow at a depth of approximately 0.2 inches (0.5 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.
