How to grow Broccoli 'Decathlon'

Try to plant in a location that enjoys partial sun and remember to apply water fairly sparingly. Keep in mind when planting that Decathlon is thought of as very hardy, so this plant will tend to survive through freezing conditions. Planting Decathlon in loamy and sandy soil with a ph of between 5.7 and 6.5 is ideal for as it does best in weakly acidic soil.

Growing Decathlon from seed

Try to aim for a seed spacing of at least 1.17 inches (3.0 cm) and sow at a depth of around 0.39 inches (1.0 cm). Soil temperature should be kept higher than 10°C / 50°F to ensure good germination.
